Web Design for the iPad

Web Design for the iPad

What were a strong majority of savvy web designers and developers up to on Sunday, April 5th? Well, after an early morning waiting in line, mad rush past the Genius bar at the Apple Store, and hours of neglecting people (and personal hygiene, no doubt) I'd be willing to bet a good number of web geeks spent Sunday the 5th figuring out how pretty (or not) their website could be on their shiny new portal to the interwebs.

Mobile is the New Black

Mobile. The new Black.

Everyone's talking about the growing importance of the mobile web. People are going to visit your site on their iPhones, Android phones, and soon, the iPad. It's going to happen. The question is, will you have prepared for them? Will they be able to navigate your site on their tiny 320x480 pixel screens?

For a limited time, I'm adding a mobile site to my Church Standard package. Get 'em while they're hot, and before I change my mind. :)

Mobile Sites.

Churches: Your Website is About Your Mission

Websites are about mission.

I've been a pastor, I've worked for churches, I get it. Money is tight and you want to spend it on what really counts: Ministry. People. Many times, when it comes to a church's website, we find anyone in the church with a copy of Photoshop and turn them loose on the world wide web. After all, a website is just like a telephone book entry, right? Just a place where people can find out our address and service times?
